Coming soon!

Our lovely new website will be coming soon!

We will shortly be inviting you to contribute to our eco lab. We'd like to know all about those little things you might be doing that contribute to a greener planet - and by the way - we don't mean watering your lawn with a sprinkler.

We'll be in touch shortly with news of how to contribute your favourite eco tips.....

Yolanda the password thief

Hey there folks!

Yippee! I'm back. I'm turning cartwheels. I started this blog in January, and having gone to all that trouble to sort myself out with a blogspot and a password, that mischievous Yolanda stole my thunder and my password.

Now, she says that blogging is passé. But what does she know? All she ever does is tweet that she's licking her paws. Now how can she honestly be licking her paws if she's tweeting at the same time? She just doesn't get the blogging game. I mean she tried to book in to the Perez Hilton, thinking it was a hotel. She should stick to licking her paws.

Anyway enough about Yolanda. I'm off to bury my password somewhere safe.

Apples on a pear tree in January?

I was out walking with Bertram the other day when I cam across this: apples on a pear tree in the middle of January.

I thought it would be a great idea for the community copse. I found three bruised apples in Mr Smith's rubbish bin this morning so I brought them home with me and poked each one onto a branch of an old hawthorn bush near where I live.

I looked out of the window of my workshop a few times and saw lots of birds pecking away at them. Withing half an hour they had all gone.

I'm going to check Mr Smith's bin again next week just in case. Please don't tell him!

Yolanda is Cross

Yolanda was out walking by the river and she came across this. She was not amused as you can imagine.

Apart from the senseless pollution of the environment, she was appalled by the fact that most of what she saw there could have been taken home and recycled with virtually no effort.

Yolanda was keen to take some of this stuff to the Recycling Bank, but you know, cats don't like to get their paws dirty.

Fortunately dogs are not so precious about getting dirty or wet or both. So I went in a fished out the goodies and Yolanda took it all off to be recycled.

Hello Cyber Surfers

Hi there! I'm Gizmo. Yeheee! I've got a blog.

You've probably heard of 'Reduce, reuse, recycle.' Well that's what I do. I like to give rubbish a reprieve. I like to jollify junk. That is, I try to do something useful with it.

I thought this blog would be a good way of sharing my ideas with you, telling you about cool stuff I've found on the Net and, I hope, learn about cool stuff from the peeps out there.

See ya
